Totejackpot Paid A Massive £207,817
The totejackpot paid a massive £207,817 to a £1 stake following a bumper day at Yarmouth, where the final pool reached £1,024,454, the ninth biggest in the bets history. With £564,875 bet into the pool today it was no real surprise that the bet was won and with all horses covered in the last, it was a victory for Equuleus Pictor that brought the joy for the eventual winners.
Paul Petrie, totepool spokesman commented, “We expected the pool to go close to £1million so it was great to break the barrier. Despite the large turnover things didn’t look good for players in the fifth leg and if Kunte Kinteh had managed to find a little extra we would have been looking at another rollover. As it was, the dividend is an impressive £207,817 and the winners will no doubt be celebrating tonight.”
All winners were big stake players, with two winning the full dividend, and three, picking up £103,908 for their 50p unit stake
