The Tote one of the UK’s largest bookmakers, today announced that they have reached agreement with Turf TV to receive live pictures and data services for racing from Ascot, Bangor, Chester, Goodwood, Newbury and York in 2007, and all 31 Turf TV racecourses in 2008, for their 600+ betting offices on the UK high street and UK racecourses.
Trevor Beaumont of the Tote said “It is clear to the Tote that races from the Turf TV courses comprise a significant element of the UK’s quality racing product required by our customers and we are delighted to have agreed that the service is to be shown in our shops.”
Alan Morcombe from Turf TV commented “The Tote is a major high-street bookmaker and will ensure that the Turf TV channel is available nationally. This is very good news for punters who will now be able to view some of the best racing available in almost every high-street across the country.
